His experience with PWC includes a tour of duty in the firm’s Office of Government Services, where he was a manager in
their Federal Audit Services division. In this role, he was actively involved in the development of Federal audit
standards for financial and program compliance, as well as measurement of economy, efficiency and program
results. Mr. George also participated in a Treasury Department project directed at reporting
the U. S. Government’s first consolidated financial statements and was a contributing editor to a federal grants
management publication. He has provided professional services to many government agencies including:
- General Accountability Office (GAO)
- Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD)
- Department of the Interior
- Farm Credit Administration
- Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank
- Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation (PBGC)
Mr. George has served as an instructor for American Management Association courses, addressing contemporary topics
in cost and management accounting including activity based costing and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). He
also has extensive experience with nonprofit organizations and has served on numerous boards including the Horizon
Hospital System, an affiliate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He received his Bachelor of
Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business, and is an active
alumnus.
