Information Advisor

Donald Peters is the Information Advisor of the National Weatherization Corporation (NWC). In this role he provides 15 Years of experience as a Database Programmer/Analyst with expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, Java, ASP.Net and Hardware Design. He has contributed to the development of NWC’s information platform and web-applications to support energy efficiency programs including the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). NWC specializes in the implementation of energy programs, making them efficient while enhancing stakeholder value. Mr. Peters is a pioneer in Information Technology (IT) design and implementation.

Mr. Peters has provided IT services to organizations including property & casualty insurance, State and local government, and manufacturing. Government clients include Health & Human Resources and Law Enforcement.

Mr. Peters has been a small business owner, small business manager and a regional manager for larger corporations in 5 States, Puerto Rico and internationally. He has designed and manufactured computer hardware, designed and implemented software systems and created maintenance and customer support strategies.

Mr. Peters is a Vietnam veteran and has sponsored two extended refugee families through faith based organizations. He has also been a foster parent, primarily for teenage refugees.
